How to eat Sugar Cane
How to eat Sugar Cane? How to cut Sugar Cane? How to peel Sugar Cane? How to prepare Sugar Cane? How to store Sugar Cane? I love chewing sugar cane for its nutritious and refreshing juice. I always cut the sugar cane into small pieces (after removing the skin) and chill them in the refrigerator as my healthy cold sweet snack. Just chew and chew until every bit of sweetness from the sugar cane is extracted and then spit the pulp out. There is a Chinese saying: “Infected sugar cane is more poisonous than a snake.” Look for a healthy sugar cane stalk by examining the color, moisture of the stalk and the inner flesh. Do not eat sugar cane with fungus, red stains and/or smells bad.
